New Homes in FishHawk Ranch
David Weekley Homes will build 50 single-family homes overlooking wetlands and conservation areas in the village of Tern Wood at FishHawk Ranch, a 3,000-acre master-planned community. Eleven one- and two-story floor plans will be offered, starting in the $560s.

Going Up in MiraBay
Sabal Homes of Florida won a gold award from the National Association of Home Builders for its Tradewinds model in MiraBay.

The two-story, 4,000-square-foot Tradewinds was named best detached single-family home design priced from $650,000 to $1 million. The award was presented at the association's annual International Builders Show.

Also in MiraBay, John Cannon Homes is building 12 luxurious single-family homes in the village of Bay Estates Preserve at MiraBay. Prices begin at $1 million, including home site.

Nearby, Bayfair has opened its 2,378-square-foot Admiral and 2,526-square-foot Bayside townhome models in Anchor Cove, the first boardwalk village in MiraBay. Anchor Cove's two-story townhomes overlook a 135-acre manmade lagoon. Prices start in the high $300s.

Westbury at Lake Brandon Goes Condo
Gannon Development will convert the 366 luxury apartments at The Westbury at Lake Brandon to condominiums. One-, two- and three-bedroom units will be available from the $130s to the low $200s.

Stonelake Ranch Sets Sail
Homeowners with canal-front property at Stonelake Ranch, a former working cattle and citrus ranch on Lake Thonotosassa in east Tampa" target="_blank">Hillsborough County, will be able to build private docks without having to go through the permitting process individually, thanks to a recent agreement with the Southwest Florida Management District.

Lots directly on Lake Thonotosassa can also have private docks, which will be permitted through the Tampa Port Authority. Stonelake Ranch has some 10,000 linear feet of canals and estuaries.

MANATEE COUNTY
New Models in Oakleaf Hammock
Ryland Homes has two new models in Oakleaf Hammock in Ellenton: the 2,812-square-foot St. James II model and the 3,551-square-foot St. Charles II. Prices start in the mid-$400s. Ryland plans development of 57 home sites in Oakleaf Hammock's Phase II this spring.

PINELLAS COUNTY
A New Landmark for Clearwater Beach
Enchantment, an ultra-luxury high-rise condominium tower soon to rise on Clearwater Beach, will set new standards for beachfront living. Buyers of the $1 million to $3.65 million condominiums will enjoy remarkable 280-degree views of Clearwater Pass and the Gulf of Mexico.

Winslow Park to Debut
Nohl Crest Homes is building Winslow Park, a community of 33 homes on 20 quiet acres in northwest Tampa" target="_blank">Pinellas County. The 3,847-square-foot Brentwood model, with four bedrooms and four baths, will open this summer.

PASCO COUNTY
Seven Oaks Grows Again
Smith Family Homes is building 197 townhomes in the gated village of Lakeside at Seven Oaks, a master-planned community in southeast Tampa" target="_blank">Pasco County.

Three floor plans, ranging from 1,587 to 1,736 square feet, are offered, and many overlook conservation areas and a manmade lake. Prices start from the low $200s.

Models, Neighborhoods Open in Southwest Pasco
M/I Homes has introduced Trinity East, a neighborhood of 222 single-family homes within the $1.5 billion master-planned community of Trinity.

Seven 1,632- to 3,400-square-foot floor plans will be offered, priced from the $280s to the $360s including home site.

Among the largest communities being developed in the Tampa Bay area, Trinity eventually will include retail, office and commercial space, a multimillion-dollar YMCA, the Morton Plant Mease medical complex, an elementary school and 18-hole championship golf course.

In the nearby The Champions' Club, a gated golf course community, Marc Rutenberg Homes is building estate residences in the Village of Florencia, while Arthur Rutenberg Homes recently opened its $1.3 million Venetia model in the village of Siena.
