New Homes for Bay Park

KB Home will build 125 single-family homes in the village of Blackstone at Bay Park, a new, 207-acre community in south Tampa" target="_blank">Hillsborough County. The nine floor plans range in size from 1,711 to 3,475 square feet. Prices start in the $240s. . Nearby, Inland Homes and Suarez Housing Corp. will build 131 and 18 single-family homes, respectively, in the village of Covina at Bay Park. Inland's two designs are priced from $249,990 while Suarez's nine designs are priced from the high $230s. . Lennar Homes and Windward Homes are each building 91 single-family homes in the village of Wellington North at Bay Park. Prices are from the low $210s to the $310s.

MiraBay keeps growing

In the master-planned community of MiraBay, also in south Tampa" target="_blank">Hillsborough County, Whitehall Quality Homes will build 224 Old Coastal Florida-inspired townhomes and condominiums in a yet-to-be-named village. . And David Weekley Homes is building three homes in the village of Lagoon Cove at MiraBay: the 2,451-square-foot Constellation, the 2,500-square-foot Riviera and the 3,133-square-foot Runabout. Each has four bedrooms, and prices start at just over $500,000.

Summerfield, Tuscany Bay set for development

The Metro Development Group has chosen builders for its two new south Tampa" target="_blank">Hillsborough County developments. US Home will build the 180-townhome community of Summerfield. A two-bedroom model home is under construction, and prices will start in the $200s. And Mercedes Homes will build the 150-townhome community of Tuscany Bay, where three model homes, priced from the $230s, are under construction.

Windward Homes dreams big

Windward Homes has broken ground on its 2006 Dream Home at Highland Park in Tampa. Proceeds from the sale of the four-bedroom Seabrook design will be donated to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and the Children's Cancer Research Group at Tampa Children's Hospital at St. Joseph's. This is the fourth Dream Home Windward Homes has built to fund cancer research.

Nohl Crest Homes will build 20 executive homes in Redington Shores Yacht & Tennis Club, the only single-family home community being developed in the Gulf beach area. One-, two- and three-story floor plans are offered, priced from the $900s. . In north Tampa" target="_blank">Pinellas County, Nohl Crest also has launched sales in the gated community of Winslow Park. Eleven floor plans, priced from the $600s, are offered.

Million-dollar homes come to Mobbly Bay

Hannah-Bartoletta Homes has started construction on four homes priced between $1 million and $1.4 million in the gated community of The Estuary of Mobbly Bay, at the top of Old Tampa Bay in northeast Tampa" target="_blank">Pinellas County.

McCar tapped to build Showcase Home

McCar Homes has been selected to build the Pasco Building Association's 2006 Showcase Home, to benefit All Children's Hospital, in the village of Grassglen at Seven Oaks.

New at The Champions' Club

Samuelsen Builders has opened its $1.1 million estate model home in the village of Mirasol at The Champions' Club. The two-story Valhalla model has four bedrooms and 4,535 square feet of living space. . In the same neighborhood, Costanza Homes has opened its 4,319-square-foot Summerfield model. Also two stories, it's priced at $1.2 million.

Wyndrush set to debut

Schickendanz Homes has announced plans to create Wyndrush, a 126-condominium community off S.R. 54 in southeast Tampa" target="_blank">Pasco County. Four floor plans priced from the low $200s to the mid-$300s will be offered. Forty acres of conservation and preserve areas surround the gated community.
