Only 10 homesites remain for sale at Sagamore Trace, a new-home community by Ashton Woods Homes on South Kingsway Road between I-4 and I-75 in North Brandon. New three-, four- and five-bedroom homes at Sagamore Trace range in size from 1,712 to 3,435 square feet and are priced from $189,900 to $289,900.
With the first home in its Build-on-Your-Lot/South Tampa program selling in just 30 days, David Weekley Homes is announcing plans to begin work on three more homes that should be ready for occupancy by mid-year. The 2,902-square-foot Bordeaux design sold for $334,990 on a customer-owned homesite in Tampa’s MacDill Heights neighborhood.? Work is expected to begin on two showcase homes this month and a third showcase home in March. They are: The Canfield, 2728 W. Jetton Ave.; The Wright, 3601 W. Vasconia St.; and The Barrett, 3820 El Prado Blvd. All featured showcase homes will be priced from the mid-$550s, including homesite.
TerraLargo, the award-winning, Tuscan-style single-family home community by Avatar Properties, is offering a total of nine three- and four-bedroom floorplans priced from the low $200s. The two most popular are the Milano from Avatar’s Castello series and the Toscana from the company’s Palazzo series. The Milano, a three-bedroom, two-bathroom home with 2,033 square feet, has been a hot seller with first-time buyers and homebuyers looking to downsize. The Toscana, a four-bedroom, three-bathroom home with 3,162 square feet has caught on with extended and multi-generational families, say company officials. TerraLargo is located in Lakeland.
Beazer Homes has unveiled two new three-bedroom, two-bathroom floorplans at Dupree Lakes, located off Ehren’s Cutoff and S.R. 51 in Land O’Lakes. The homes at Dupree Lakes range in size from 1,350 to 1,550 square feet and are priced from the $170s.
A new, furnished Inland Homes model has opened in Phase II of Oak Creek, a master-planned community in Wesley Chapel. The 2,631-square-foot Devonshire is a four-bedroom, three-bathroom home with a den and a three-car garage. It also boasts numerous energy-efficient features. In addition to the Devonshire, six other Inland Homes floorplan designs are offered in Oak Creek with prices starting from the $160s. The amenity-rich community is located in Wesley Chapel, near I-75 and State Road 54.

A pristine natural setting and family oriented activities are just a few of the new perks residents of The Preserve at Quail Woods are experiencing. The private, gated community in North Tampa has added a nature park featuring a pavilion, play area and sports field. “At Quail Woods we want to make sure we complement the acres of untouched conservation that brought the homeowners here,” says Jim Deitch, Chief Operating Officer for Southern Crafted Homes. Homes in The Preserve at Quail Woods range in size from 1,839 to 3,389 square feet and are priced starting at $274,000.

The National Association for the Remodeling Industry/Tampa Bay Region has announced that Don Strobel of Strobel Design Build has recently earned Green Certified Professional (GCP) status. A GCP designation indicates superior knowledge, technical comprehension and skill in green remodeling.
NEW COMMUNITIES
A new community of single-family homes called Whispering Woods, built by D.R. Horton Homes, features 143 single-family homes, each backing up to conservation areas and ponds. The company is offering seven new floorplans with a choice of four elevations per plan. These one- and two-story homes are built to suit buyers at every stage of life—from those needing a minimal 1,749 square feet to those wishing to spread out in 2,879 square feet.
