Metro Development Group has begun development of 933 home sites in Phase Two of South Fork, a 400-acre community in southern Tampa" target="_blank">Hillsborough County. When complete, South Fork will encompass 2,000 homes. .Also in South Fork, Windward Homes is nearing completion of two four-bedroom model homes. The 2,398-square-foot St. Maarten is priced starting at $325,990, while the 2,299-square-foot St. Croix IV is priced starting at $318,990.

Taylor Woodrow builds in Ladera, Winthrop

Taylor Woodrow Homes will build Mediterranean-style estate homes in Ladera, a gated, 220-acre community on Lake Merrywater in northern Tampa" target="_blank">Hillsborough County. Seven floor plans will be offered, ranging in size from 3,338 to 5,048 square feet and priced from the low $800s to more than $1 million. .In southern Hillsborough, Taylor Woodrow has launched presales in the neotraditional community of Winthrop. Two new models have been designed expressly for the community, with prices starting in the high $300s.

Centex breaks ground in Stonebrier

Centex Homes has broken ground on the master-planned community of Stonebrier. The 440-acre, 539-home project, located in northern Tampa" target="_blank">Hillsborough County, boasts numerous lakes, parks and nature preserves. Prices will start in the $400s.

Freemarr tapped for Wellington South at Bay Park

Freemarr Homes has been selected as the exclusive builder of single-family homes in the village of Wellington South at Bay Park, a 207-acre community in southern Tampa" target="_blank">Hillsborough County. Freemarr will build 92 homes in 13 floor plans ranging in price from the $190s to the $260s.

Hannah Bartoletta Homes introduces estate model

An estate model home overlooking a 53-acre lake in the gated community of Wellington Manor is being built by Hannah Bartoletta Homes. The 4,478-square-foot, Mediterranean-style Sonoma III has numerous luxury amenities. Hannah Bartoletta Homes in Wellington Manor are priced starting in the $670s.

MANATEE COUNTY

New at River Plantation

Nohl Crest Homes will be the exclusive builder in a new, 66-home section of The Estuary at River Plantation, in the northern Sarasota" target="_blank">Manatee County community of Parrish. One- and two-story executive homes will be offered with prices starting in the mid-$500s.

PINELLAS COUNTY

Million-dollar dreams in Winslow Park

Nohl Crest Homes has unveiled its $1 million Brentwood model in Winslow Park, a gated community in northern Tampa" target="_blank">Pinellas County. The 3,847-square-foot Brentwood, reminiscent of an English manor, has a stucco and stone elevation with two towers flanking the double entry doors.

Southern Crafted Homes builds in Quail Woods, Creekside, Devonwood

Southern Crafted Homes has debuted Quail Woods, a gated community in Wesley Chapel. Seven floor plans are offered, ranging in size from 2,420 to 3,277 square feet and priced starting in the low $300s. .Southern Crafted Homes also has begun building in Creekside, the newest neighborhood in the master-planned community of Grand Hampton. Most home sites adjoin a hardwood preserve running along Cypress Creek. Prices start in the mid-$300s. .In Land O'Lakes, Southern Crafted Homes is developing the gated community of Devonwood, where the company will build low-maintenance villas ranging in size from 1,660 to 2,000 square feet. At press time, no prices had been announced.

Sales begin at Summer Chase

Site work is complete and sales have begun at Summer Chase, a 40-acre community of 117 homes in western Tampa" target="_blank">Pasco County. Morrison Homes, the exclusive builder, will offer six floor plans ranging in size from 1,703 to 2,895 square feet. Construction will begin shortly on two model homes.

Asbel Estates set for development

Centex Homes is offering 100 home sites surrounded by lush natural ponds and preserves in its newest neighborhood, Asbel Estates, in Land O'Lakes. Prices start in the $200s.

New in Grassglen at Seven Oaks

McCar Homes has introduced its 2,877-square-foot Margate model in Grassglen at Seven Oaks. Among the home's many features: a pond surrounded by brick pavers. The price is $535,000.
