Dream Renovations
These Tampa Bay homeowners asked for a complete redesign of their bathroom—and that’s just what the team at Dream Renovations gave them. The space-hogging garden tub and platform were eliminated to allow for a larger vanity area. The worn carpeting was ripped out and replaced with large porcelain tile in both the bathroom and the walk-in closet. The shower was redone with ceramic wall tile with glass tile listello. The dated wallpaper was removed and the walls were painted in a soft hue. All new plumbing fixtures, including a high-efficiency toilet, were installed. The homeowners chose cherry cabinetry with rope detailing on the doors, drawers and trim; the toffee stain adds warmth and richness. For storage, the new design included three upper towers, with wood-trimmed mirrors, which helped create separate his-and-hers spaces. The cabinetry is topped with granite countertops for even more visual impact.
