MiraBay, by Newland Communities, has welcomed Cardel Homes to the waterfront community’s builder team. Cardel has already broken ground on its first home in the Lagoon Cove neighborhood. In keeping with MiraBay’s signature “Old Florida” architecture, Cardel has created a coastal version of its Gulfstream showcase home especially for the community. A similar model at FishHawk Ranch was the 2009 Tampa Bay Builders Association (TBBA) Parade of Homes Showcase Home. The new coastal-style Gulfstream will include three bedrooms, a den and a bonus room plus two-and-a-half bathrooms and a two-car garage. The home, priced from $349,990, will also feature an optional nanny suite. Also in MiraBay, Cardel will offer the Harbor Mist and the Coast Line models at prices ranging from $329,990 to $379,990. MiraBay is a 750-acre waterfront residential community located 20 miles south of Tampa in Apollo Beach.?

Centex Homes has unveiled its newest model home at Starling at FishHawk Ranch. The 2,426-square-foot Trentino model offers three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a flex room, a formal living and dinning room, a three-car garage and a large covered lanai. New homes at Starling are priced from the low $200s.

The village of Evergreen at Trinity East, with 155 homesites surrounded by nature preserves, has been announced as the latest offering in Trinity, a $1.5 billion master-planned community in southwest Tampa" target="_blank">Pasco County. Featuring a private neighborhood park and a fenced children’s play area, this gated enclave—just off S.R. 54 west of Gunn Highway—will feature homes priced from the mid-$200s. Adam Smith Enterprises, Trinity’s developer, says the village’s one- and two-story single-family homes will range in size from 1,500 to nearly 2,800 square feet of living space. Also in Evergreen at Trinity East, Samuelsen Builders has opened its 2,768-square-foot Britta model home bordering a sprawling conservation area. And near the entrance to the neighborhood will be Tampa" target="_blank">Pasco County’s newest elementary school, slated to open next August. When completed, Trinity —and the active-adult community of Heritage Springs located in it—will encompass more than 4,200 single-family homes and 900 multifamily homes. Prices at Trinity begin in the $250s including homesite.
