David Weekley Homes premieres new model?
David Weekley Homes has unveiled its Portland Rose model in Panther Trace-Lawford Village. The 2,600-square-foot home has four bedrooms, a children’s retreat and a study in lieu of a formal living room. It’s priced in the low $300s.

Sales office opens at Winthrop
Taylor Woodrow has opened a sales office in Winthrop, its New Urban community of 412 homes in south Tampa" target="_blank">Hillsborough County. Eight single-family floorplans and four townhome floorplans are offered at prices ranging from the mid-$200s to the mid-$300s.

Model homes open in The Estates at Harbour Isles
Toll Brothers has opened two estate model homes in The Estates at Harbour Isles. The 4,175-square-foot Alba and the 3,345-square-foot Royale each have four bedrooms, a study, a pool, a lanai with an outdoor kitchen and a three-car garage. Prices are $594,975 and $514,975, repectively.

MANATEE COUNTY
CrossCreek set for development
Bruce Williams Homes has started site development at CrossCreek, its newest community of 350 single-family homes in Parrish. Presales will start this fall with prices starting in the high-$200s. …The company also has started construction of two new homes in the Preserve at Lexington in Parrish. Both will be available this summer and priced in the $400s.

Models unveiled at Copperstone
Ryland Homes has opened three models at Copperstone in Parrish. The company plans to build 118 three-bedroom townhomes, priced from $178,990.

Harrison Ranch grows
Pulte Homes has opened two models, the Denison and the Cozumel, and an amenity center at Harrison Ranch, its 998-acre community in northwest Sarasota" target="_blank">Manatee County. A third model, the Alexander villa design, will open later this spring.

PINELLAS COUNTY
Signature Place rises in downtown St. Petersburg
The 36-story Signature Place, Tampa" target="_blank">Pinellas County’s tallest building, is rising in downtown St. Petersburg. Joel Cantor of Cantor Development is the developer, and Ralph Johnston of the international architectural firm of Perkins + Will is the designer. The project will include 246 residential units as well as office and retail space. Completion is expected in winter 2009.

PASCO COUNTY
Maronda Homes to build in Hidden River
Maronda Homes has been chosen to build at Hidden River, a new community of 325 single-family homes in southeast Tampa" target="_blank">Pasco County. Homes will range in size from 1,400 to more than 3,000 square feet; pricing had not been announced at press time.

Riverwood under development
Land development has begun on the first two phases of Riverwood, a gated, 640-acre, master-planned community in southeast Tampa" target="_blank">Pasco County. About 750 single-family homes are planned. Lennar will build in Phase I and Standard Pacific Homes will build in Phase II.

Builders chosen for Summerglade
Arthur Rutenberg Homes/Lyons Heritage Pasco and Nohl Crest Homes will each build 30 single-family home designs in the Summerglade neighborhood in WaterGrass, a 2,000-home community being built in southeast Tampa" target="_blank">Pasco County. Construction on models will begin this spring.

Seven Oaks grows again
Land development is under way in Stonecreek, a gated neighborhood of 47 single-family homesites in the master-planned community of Seven Oaks. … Also in Seven Oaks, Smith Family Homes has begun construction of a four-townhome model center in the Lakeside neighborhood. The three-bedroom townhomes are priced starting at $244,900.
