Beazer Homes recently opened seven ready-to-move-in, single-family homes and three villa homes at Gulfwinds in Holiday. All are priced from the $150s. Beazer’s single-family homes and villas are built with eSMART features that increase energy and water efficiency and indoor air quality. As an incentive, the company is offering special reduced pricing and 50 percent off all upgrades for additional savings of up to $5,000.
PRODUCT UPDATE
Lennar’s Central Florida Division announced that five of its Tampa Bay-area communities are approaching sell-out: Heritage Isles in Tampa, Cedar Crest in Lakeland, Avalon in Spring Hill, Creekside in Mulberry and Summerfield Townhomes in Riverview. The few remaining townhomes are priced from the $80s while single-family homes are priced from the $120s. The communities are expected to close out completely within the next 60-90 days.
NEW MODELS
K. Hovnanian Homes will offer nine one- and two-story home designs in Evergreen, the newest village in Trinity, a $1.5 billion master-planned community in southwest Pasco County. The Florida Collection designs will range in size from 1,558 to 2,816 square feet of living space. K. Hovnanian’s entire Florida Collection is Energy Star-compliant and meets the Florida Green Building Coalition’s green-built standards. Pasco County’s newest elementary school, scheduled to open in August, will be located near the neighborhood’s entrance. Prices start in the high $100s.
PARADE OF HOMES
Rottlund Homes earned Merit Awards for two multifamily residential designs it builds in Pinellas County during the recent 2010 Tampa Bay Parade of Homes, sponsored by the Tampa Bay Builders Association (TBBA). The Berkshire villa model at Tarpon Ridge in Palm Harbor is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom design with a two-car garage featuring a 12-foot-high ceiling in the living-dining room, a kitchen with breakfast bar and a large walk-in closet in the master suite. The two-story Abaco at Hidden Bayou in Seminole includes three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a den and a three-car tandem garage. It features a screened balcony off the family room on the second level, a gourmet island in the kitchen and a private elevator option.
Costanza Homes’ $1.3 million estate model home in the Champions’ Club, an exclusive gated community in southwest Pasco County, won a Grand Award during the recent Tampa Bay Parade of Homes. Located in the Village of Mirasol, the 4,565-square-foot Summerfield Grand overlooks the golf course at Fox Hollow Golf Club.
