Calo Homes remodeled and built an addition onto this Mediterranean-style home.

How to Make the Most of What You've Got

Not enough room for our growing children and, often these days, our aging parents. Not enough room for our toys, crafting supplies, home exercise equipment, electronic gadgets and more.

Whatever it is, an addition to your home needs to be well thought out and executed professionally. After all, there’s nothing worse than a “re-muddle.”

Additions should increase your useable square footage but they should look unobtrusive and like they were part of your home from the beginning. It takes a pro to accomplish that, and we spotlight several of their projects in this issue of REMODEL Orlando.

But we can also make better use of the space we’ve got. In this issue, we also talk to organization pros about revamping closets, pantries and garages to make them more efficient without embarking on a major construction project.

Whatever you decide to do, be sure you work with the experts listed in this issue.
