Phil Kean Designs was honored with the Golden Aurora Award (Best in Show) for his “Private Residence/New Modern,” which was aptly named “NeMo.”

The 4,426-square-foot home “embraces the mid-century architectural inspirations of Wright, Rudolph, Schindler and Neutra to create a modern classic,” according to SEBC judges. The home also was the winner of the Best in State Aurora Award and three Grand Awards.

The nationally recognized Aurora Awards—known as the Grammy’s of the homebuilding industry—honor builders, designers, architects and others in the 12-state region stretching from
Texas to Virginia.
