2009 Parade of Homes: The Best of the Best

Perhaps the upturn was due to a combination of low interest rates, bargain prices, wide selection and new government incentives for first-time buyers.

But whatever the case, visitors to the 70-plus new and remodeled homes entered in this year’s event seemed to share a sense that the long-elusive bottom of the market had been reached—and that now was the time to get off the fence and into the market.

As always, Parade entries were judged by out-of-market experts, and winners were sel-ected in each category. On the following pages are the entries the judges liked best.

The Design Specialty Showcase and Remodel Showcase entries will no longer be open to the public, but many of the new homes will be available for tours.

The best place to start, however, is online at www.paradeofhomesorlando.com.
