WELCOME HOME
Home sales are hotter than ever in Lake Nona. In fact, the community has consistently ranked among the 20 top-selling master-planned communities in the U.S. Beyond Lake Nona’s wide selection of exceptional homes, the community offers an unparalleled lifestyle — neighborhoods with premier amenities, tons of events and an ambiance that promotes happy, healthy living.
Laureate Park, Lake Nona’s largest and best-selling neighborhood, concluded 2017 with 360 sales. Among those contracts were single-family homes, townhomes, cottages and urban bungalows situated among pocket parks and trails.
Builders in the neighborhood include Ashton Woods Homes, Craft Homes, David Weekley Homes, Dream Finders Homes, Pulte Homes and Taylor Morrison Homes.
But there’s much more. Somerset Park’s single-family homes are sold out, and the Mediterranean-inspired Enclave at VillageWalk by Pulte Homes continues to be in demand.
Sales within the Lake Nona Golf & Country Club also tallied a banner year. One of the top private golf and country clubs in the world, it features a Tom Fazio-designed championship golf course, a clubhouse, a lodge, a Bath & Racquet Club, year-round children’s programming and 24-hour gated security.
“Our diversification and innovation in product types continues to be a strong draw for a variety of homeowners,” says Rob Adams, vice president of residential development. “We like to have different products that appeal to different people. By broadening our appeal, we grow our sales. We cast a wide net.”
That’s why Lake Nona offers single-family homes, townhomes, luxury apartments and custom estates at a wide range of price points, he adds.
That net has now been cast even wider. Lake Nona’s first active-adult community, Gatherings of Lake Nona, built by Beazer Homes, has been welcoming its newest residents.
Offering a variety of amenities and programming, the active-adult community is located near the state-of-the-art Orlando VA Medical Center. Gatherings of Lake Nona offers more than 200 condominiums with prices starting in the high $200s.
Lake Nona’s newest multifamily community, Ariel Apartments, features 348 one-, two- and three-bedroom urban-style apartments with plenty of indoor and outdoor amenities — including a 24-hour fitness club featuring Technogym equipment, virtual classes, a zero-entry pool and an expansive dog park.
Another rental community, Pixon at Lake Nona, is located within walking distance of the Lake Nona Town Center. It’s a 200-unit modern flat community set to open in 2019.
Pixon features an impressive list of innovative community conveniences, including a car-share program with Tesla vehicles and a concierge delivery system. It will have retail space on the ground floor and the Orlando market’s first micro apartment units.
Lake Nona residents throughout the community have access to one of the richest programming calendars in the country — with more than 1,000 community events each year.

An Eventful Community
Lake Nona is an eventful place to live with more than 1,000 community activities a year, including a Saturday morning farmers market in Town Center, free yoga classes, outdoor concerts and more.
“We believe in art in all of its forms, so we certainly look into different options and how we can engage the community with what we’re doing,” says Juan Santos, vice president of Brand Experience for Tavistock.
Art After Dark at Town Center is a popular event where residents mingle with local artists from the Orlando art scene on the first Friday of each month and dine at visiting food trucks.
Weekly events include meditation classes at Lakehouse, Cycle & Core classes at LP Fit, Yoga Nona at Crescent Park, Chess Club and Live + Local. Boxi Park’s outdoor stage also brings the community together weekly for shows and music performances.
Rising Sunbridge
NEW PROJECT WILL MORE THAN DOUBLE LAKE NONA’S SIZE.
Tavistock Development Company — the mastermind behind Lake Nona — has launched another major project in Central Florida. Sunbridge, a 24,000-acre master-planned community, will include a diverse range of neighborhoods, employment centers and commercial districts. Located east of Lake Nona, it will straddle Orange and Osceola counties.
Premier active-adult builder Del Webb is planning the first residential project, a gated, 700-acre neighborhood called Del Webb Sunbridge to be located near Narcoossee Road in northwest Osceola County. It could include more than 1,350 homes.
Del Webb, a national brand of PulteGroup, Inc. is a pioneer in active-adult communities and would bring more than six decades of homebuilding experience to Sunbridge. Ground could be broken later this year, with model homes anticipated to open in the summer of 2019.
“Del Webb has been the premier active-adult homebuilder in the nation for more than 60 years,” says Rob Adams, vice president of residential development for Tavistock. “Their track record of creating vibrant, active places will be a wonderful addition to Sunbridge.”
While still in the early planning stages, Sunbridge will incorporate best practices from Tavistock’s award-winning portfolio, including Lake Nona, which ranks among the best-selling master-planned communities in the U.S. and was heralded in Fortune magazine as “the future of cities.”
