CHASE YOUR DREAMS TO WINTER PARK

Old-time front porches, expansive floorplans, outdoor living areas and large homesites featuring water views. That’s what you’ll find at Oxford Chase, a gated community in Winter Garden built by Mattamy Homes.

In recent years, historic Winter Garden has blossomed as a vibrant small city that offers both natural beauty and convenience, with trails and lakes as well as easy access to major thoroughfares.

Outdoors attractions include the 22-mile West Orange Trail and picturesque Lake Apopka, Florida’s third-largest lake. In addition, downtown Winter Garden and the uber-popular Winter Garden Village are a short drive away.

An open-air center, Winter Garden Village encompasses more than 1 million square feet of shopping and dining. Orlando is only about 15 minutes east via Interstate 429, with connections to Orange, Seminole, Lake and Osceola counties.

Oxford Chase takes full advantage of the area’s allure. The community, secured by two gated entrances, features four- and five-bedroom homes ranging in price from $349,900 to $442,900. The one- and two-story homes range in size from 2,556 to 4,655 square feet.

Mattamy Homes touts spacious and relaxed living through thoughtful design. And for good reason. There are six models from which to choose: Cambridge, Manchester, Sheffield, Nottingham, Windsor and Yorkshire.

The largest, at 4,665 square feet, is the two-story Yorkshire, with five bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms. Highlights include a gathering room, study, dining room, breakfast nook, bonus room, laundry room and courtyard.

The smallest — if you can use that word to describe a home that ranges in size from 2,556 to 3,028 square feet — is the Cambridge, with four or five bedrooms and four or five bathrooms. There are three elevation options: Craftsman, Prairie and Tuscan.

Within Oxford Chase, residents can enjoy community amenities such as a playground and park. Excellent schools serve the area, including highly rated West Orange High School.

Most of all, Oxford Chase reflects Mattamy Homes’ approach to home and community design — prioritizing “how you really live throughout every hour of your every day.” Its chief fundamental is to “keep our eyes, ears and minds open.” Among its innovations are “WideLot” homes, with homesites configured by width instead of depth.

Not coincidentally, since its founding in 1978, Mattamy Homes has gone from being Canada’s largest builder of new homes to North America’s largest privately owned home builder — with 90,000 homeowners in hundreds of communities.
