Not everybody needs a 5,000-plus-square-foot house. But if you do, it’ll be hard to find anything nicer — and with as much value per square foot — as the William model, by Royal Oak Homes.

The William, at a whopping 5,233 square feet, has six bedrooms, four-and-a-half bathrooms and a three-car garage. It’s priced from $489,999, and is currently available in two communities: Black Lake Preserve in Winter Garden and Underwood Estates in St. Cloud.

At the front of the home, an impressive foyer is flanked by traditional living and dining rooms. The open kitchen and family room feature a huge walk-in pantry, island breakfast bar and a sunny nook overlooking an expansive lanai. 

There’s a secluded den or office with a stylish double-door entry and a downstairs master suite with an oversized shower and luxurious garden soaking tub. Separate his-and-hers vanities provide additional personal space.

The William “is over 5,000 square feet of awesomeness,” according to the company’s description. And that sounds just about right for the largest floorplan ever offered by Royal Oak Homes.

Of course, your William may not look like someone else’s William. There are seven elevations offered, and for an even more upscale look, stonework can be added to any of the exteriors as an upgrade. 

The William model home at Black Lake Preserve, for example, features the optional stone accents as well as a formal covered entrance with arches and coordinating arched windows on the second story.

Black Lake Preserve is a family-oriented community of just 91 oversized homesites. It’s near historic downtown Winter Garden as well as shopping and dining at Winter Garden Village. An elementary and middle school are within walking distance.

Underwood Estates is just five miles from the burgeoning Medical City complex and also boasts top-rated elementary and middle schools within walking distance, and Orlando International Airport is a quick drive.
