The Colors of Spring

Speaking of color, we seem to be hearing a lot about “green” these days. For years, remodelers and custom-home builders have been helping their clients make their homes more environmentally friendly. But often going green has, well, cost a lot of green.
Today, however, green has gone mainstream, with more builders applying energy efficiency and environmentally sensitive construction techniques to affordable homes. In this issue, we’ll talk to the builders who have embraced the movement and truly are making it easy — and affordable — to be green.
