1. The 27th Annual Realtor-Builder Tradeshow, presented by the Northeast Florida Association of Realtors (NEFAR) and the Sales and Marketing Council of the Northeast Florida Builder's Association (NEFBA), was a glamorous, Hollywood-themed affair attended by more than 1,100 industry pros. There were 101 booths, which were evaluated by celebrity judges. The winners included: Stephens Advertising (Best Booth D,cor), Centex Homes (Most Creative Booth), D.R. Horton (Most Original Booth) and Hines (Best Booth Theme). Each received $500 to support local area charities.

2. Davidson Development and Bug Out Service recently held the first annual Sporting Clays Classic in Bryceville. The event raised $2,700 for the Betty Griffin House of St. Johns County, a local organization that provides emergency temporary shelter and counseling to rape victims as well as battered women and their children. 3. Trident Realty Corp. recently held a grand opening at its newly completed Water's Edge Oceanfront Condominium in Jacksonville Beach. The theme, "South Beach: 1960s Style," was enhanced by actors donning period fashions. Trident donated $10 to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundationfor each attendee. 4. HabiJax recently held a golf outing at White Oak Plantation in appreciation of NEFBA members who participated in the NEFBA/HabiJax Blitz Build in June. Twenty-two companies built 30 homes in six days as part of a national effort to build 400 homes for Habitat for Humanity International. Arnold Tritt of the Northeast Florida Builders Association (NEFBA) was awarded the prestigious Dick Baker Award by the Florida Home Builders Association for outstanding service to the industry.
