ASID Florida North Chapter is pleased, once again, to partner with Florida Home Media to bring you the annual ASID Membership Directory & Buyers Guide for the Florida North Chapter.
The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) is the oldest and largest professional organization representing interior designers, allied interior designers, students and industry partners.
ASID inspires and enriches our members by promoting the value of interior design, while providing indispensable knowledge and experiences that build relationships.
The organization’s 16,000 practicing interior designers work in all areas of commercial and residential design. Professional members of ASID must meet rigorous acceptance standards, including a combination of accredited design education and/or full-time work experience. They must also pass a two-day accreditation examination administered by the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ).
This year, ASID is pleased to invite a larger group of design professionals to join our ongoing conversation about design, the art form, the science and the business.
ASID designers who specialize in residential projects are educated in the latest products, techniques, styles and trends—and are trained to assist you in planning and implementing them in your home in unique and beautiful ways. Embracing and understanding all these areas of expertise is what makes ASID the leader in our industry.
Commercially, ASID designers are also trained in many different disciplines, including healthcare facilities and practices, corporate and private work environments, retail design and store planning and hospitality environments that entertain or host the public. Other services include project management and specifying and purchasing furnishings and finishes.
We invite you to explore everything that ASID can do for you, whether you’re working on your personal residence, office space or are just interested in interior design as a whole. This directory will outline each of our membership designations so that you can make an informed decision when hiring an ASID professional.
