RED CARPET GALA FOR REMODELERS

The region’s best remodeling projects were honored recently at the First Coast Remodelers Awards, held at the Deerwood Country Club. The Red Carpet Gala theme recalled Hollywood glitz and glamour while the projects showcased the skill and ingenuity of local remodeling professionals. 

The awards were presented by the Remodelers Council of the Northeast Florida Builders Association (NEFBA). Producer sponsors were Durham Building Materials and Ferguson Bath, Kitchen & Lighting Gallery while Director sponsors were Traditions in Tile and Stone and Universal Design Solutions. Stage Manager sponsors were About Floors N’ More; B&G Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning; Crossville Tile; Kitchen Envy; Kitchen Studio 1562 and Sisler Johnston Interior Design. Florida Custom Marble was a year-long Platinum sponsor.

Outgoing Chairman Tom Trout of Tom Trout Inc. reviewed the council’s year, lauding successful educational and outreach programs. “I’ve gained a lot personally by serving as chairman this year,” Trout said. “I’ve been touched seeing the unselfish efforts made by each of you, giving time and energy for the betterment of our industry.”
