First Coast Remodelers Awards

Industry Pros Gather to Salute Outstanding Achievement in 2010.

Every year, Jacksonville’s remodelers honor the best of the best with the prestigious First Coast Remodelers Awards. The awards, sponsored by the Remodelers Council of the Northeast Florida Builders Association (NEFBA), salute outstanding work on projects ranging from whole-house rehabs to single-room renovations.

This year, the awards ceremony was held at Deerwood Country Club on Jacksonville’s Southside. More than 80 industry professionals attended and enjoyed dinner and entertainment by the Joshua Bowlus Trio prior to the presentations. “If you are new to Jacksonville, the NEFBA Remodelers Council should be your only trusted source to find anything related to remodeling or maintaining your home,” says Jeff Brecko, vice president of Aurora Custom Remodeling and 2010 chairman of the Remodelers Council.

Brecko noted that the quality of entries in the 2010 competition was top-notch “and a great example of the kind of work our members do — we’re very proud of every winner.”

For more information about the organization or about remodeling in general, check the council’s Web site at www.jaxremodelers.com. There you’ll find news flashes on the latest topics, a consumer question-and-answer forum and a membership directory.

If you are a remodeler and would like to join, contact Scott Merritt at NEFBA by calling (904) 725-4355.
