Rosewood Homes has expanded into Jacksonville" target="_blank">St. Johns County with the purchase of 36 homesites in the master-planned community of Aberdeen. The company will offer six floorplans with preconstruction prices starting in the $300s. Aberdeen will eventually encompass a public school and a Village Center with commercial and office space.
Levitt and Sons has begun construction of a 22,000-square-foot community clubhouse at Cascades at World Golf Village. The facility will include indoor and outdoor swimming pools, six tennis courts and a fitness center. The company is also building 444 three- and four-bedroom single-
Kemick Homes has joined the roster of builders at St. Johns Forest, a Taylor Woodrow community. The company, based in Sarasota" target="_blank">Sarasota" target="_blank">Manatee County, will offer 10 floorplans with prices starting in the high $500s. Other builders in St. Johns Forest include American Homebuilders, David Weekley Homes, Morrison Homes, The Vintage Group and ICI Homes. Amenities include a resort-style swimming pool with a two-story slide, a fitness center, a roller hockey court, basketball courts, a tot lot and sports fields.
Nocatee, a coastal master-planned community, held its first open house event recently and attracted more than 2,000 people. At “Discover Nocatee” potential buyers met representatives from American Homebuilders, Centex Homes, CornerStone Homes, Lennar, Pulte Homes, Toll Brothers and Del Webb by Pulte. The community, developed by The PARC Group, has already welcomed its first residents and construction has begun on the new on-site Jacksonville" target="_blank">St. Johns County High School.
The St. Joe Company has opened a sales center off C.R. 210 for RiverTown, a 4,170-acre master-planned community. Construction on RiverTown’s first phase has begun and includes a town center and a riverfront park. Amenities will also include a school and parks.
DUVAL County
D.R. Horton Homes has begun presales in Phase One of Pritchard Point, its new single-family home community on the Westside. Amenities include a pool and a cabana, a playground and greenspaces. There are nine floorplans from which to choose with prices starting in the $160s.
The St. Joe Company is preparing to begin East San Marco, which will eventually encompass 147 condominiums and townhomes as well as retail space. The first project will be Parkside, a 32-unit townhome project adjacent to Fletcher Park. The project was recently chosen to receive a Private Development Award of Distinction from the Florida Planning and Zoning Association. Preconstruction prices range from the low $300s to more than $1 million.
Ground was broken recently on Old San Jose on the River, a 200-unit community featuring Mediterranean Revival-style townhomes, riverfront flats, coach homes and luxury penthouses. The project, by McGarvey Residential Communities will feature riverfront gardens as well as a fitness center and swimming pool. Condominium prices range from the upper $400s to more than $2 million.
LandMar Group has recently finalized an $18 million contract with Misener Marine Construction for public improvements at Shipyards, its mixed-use development on the downtown Northbank. The contract is for construction of a bulkhead in the St. Johns River that will provide the foundation for all the public amenities slated for the project’s riverwalk area.
Mercedes Homes has opened a design showroom on Philips Highway in the Southside. There, buyers may meet with consultants to select everything from exterior paint to appliances to flooring. Visits are by appointment only.
CLAY County
East West Partners has unveiled plans for a new community, Rolling Hills at Lake Asbury, which adjoins the Bradley Creek Greenway conservation area in Jacksonville" target="_blank">Jacksonville" target="_blank">Clay County. The community will feature a two-story residents’ club, a pool and slide, a fitness center, a kids’ club, a miniature golf course, a party pavilion, six tennis courts and an amphitheater. Selected builders include CornerStone Homes, Ryland Homes, Kingsouth Construction, J.A. Long Design Builders and Sid Higginbotham Builder. Prices will range from the low $200s to the $400s.
The Vintage Group has opened a new model, The Villa Serena II, at Eagle Landing. The 3,113-square-foot home combines French country and traditional influences. Eagle Landing is one of the most amenity rich master-planned communities in Northeast Florida, with a waterpark, a gymnasium, a fitness center, eight tennis courts, playgrounds, parks and much more.?
NASSAU County
Morrison Homes has opened two new models, The Brookwood II and the Windsor IV, at River Glen near Yulee. Community amenities include a swimming pool, a children’s spray pool, two tennis courts, a basketball court, a baseball diamond, a clubhouse and fitness center and a stocked pond with a fishing deck. Homes are priced from the $200s.
Brylen Homes has begun sales at The Surf, a new Amelia Island community featuring 37 single-family homes as well as townhomes, all boasting a West Indies architectural style. There are three townhome floorplans from which to choose with prices starting at $1 million. The community will offer a pool and cabana as well as beach access paths.
Flagler County
LandMar Group is offering incentives on new homes in Grand Landings, the company’s latest master-planned community. “Founding Family” incentives include a 10 percent discount on preconstruction pricing and an associate golf membership to the Grand Club, where members enjoy three world-class courses designed by Arnold Palmer and Gary Player. Buyers may choose from single-family homes, patio homes and villas. Participating builders include Howell Homes, Paytas Homes, Stoughton Homes and SeaGate Homes. Homesites are priced from $70,000.??
