Living Where The Action Is

Three New Neighborhoods Come To St. Johns Town Center
St. Johns Town Center is Northeast Florida’s hottest destination for shopping, dining, entertainment and, now, living.

The 207-acre, open-air lifestyle center, located off Gate Parkway north of J. Turner Butler Boulevard on the bustling Southside, boasts more than 100 retailers—some of which you won’t find elsewhere in Jacksonville" target="_blank">Jacksonville—in a beautifully landscaped, village center-style setting.

Now, with the introduction of three new-home communities, St. Johns Town Center also offers exciting residential options. And there’s no better place to live in all of Northeast Florida if you want to be where the action is.

St. Johns Center boasts major anchor stores such as Ashley Furniture HomeStore, Barnes & Noble, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Dillard’s and Target. Well-known names such as Old Navy, Staples, Ross, Jo-Ann and PetSmart also have locations.

But there are also 15 restaurants, ranging from The Cheesecake Factory to Firehouse Subs and everything in-between, including specialty eateries such as Kilwin’s Chocolate and Ice Cream and The Grape, a unique wine bar and retail store.

Clothing stores run the gamut from Abercrombie & Fitch to The Men’s Wearhouse to Ann Taylor (and Ann Taylor Loft) and Victoria’s Secret. Specialty shops such as The Sharper Image add to the variety.

In addition to Ashley Furniture HomeStore, home products and accessories are available at Williams-Sonoma, Swoozie’s, Rug D?or, Pier I Imports (and Pier 1 Kids), Floral Supply Mart, Designs of the Interior, Bo Concept, Artsy Abode and Anthropologie.

There are also salons, electronics outlets, personal services providers, jewelry and accessories retailers and much more. Plus, St. Johns Town Center offers free shuttle service to SunCruz Casino cruises.

But there are quiet places as well. On the Park Green, turtles, koi and mallard ducks make their home among a bamboo forest and soft, cascading falls. And a Bark Park is coming soon where you and your four-legged friend can romp or relax.

Here’s a look at the three new communities within the complex:

Esplanade at Town Center
Many of the world’s most charming and exotic locales boast famous esplanades. In Northeast Florida, Wood Partners has debuted a condominium community called Esplanade, located in the heart of St. Johns Town Center.

There are eight floorplans from which to choose, with one-, two- and three-bedroom designs ranging in size from 553 to 1,463 square feet.

Despite the proximity to Town Center shopping, Esplanade residents will enjoy total privacy. The entrance is controlled by electronic gates with telephone admittance and TV-viewing capability.

The community’s 258 homes are encompassed within a family of four-story Mediterranean-style buildings. There’s a private parking garage for added peace of mind.

Amenities include a resort-style community pool with an expansive sundeck, a poolside gazebo, an outdoor grill with picnic areas, a tastefully-appointed community clubhouse with a media center, a fully-equipped fitness center with strength and cardiovascular training equipment, a complete business center and a cyber-caf?

Georgetown
Georgetown, a townhome community by SEDA Construction Company, is highlighted by colonial-style architecture reminiscent of homes in the Boston and Washington, D.C. suburbs. It’s poised to become the premiere townhome community for buyers who appreciate urban living and are attracted to living near shopping, restaurants and entertainment venues.

Amenities include a swimming pool and a fitness center along with three beautiful lakes and a quaint canal spanned by a pedestrian bridge.

The three-story floorplans, which start at 2,133 square feet, provide extra storage space while the bedrooms are separated from living areas.

In addition, a first-floor retreat area can be used for a media room, a game room, an office or a guest bedroom. The retreat area also leads to an outdoor lanai, and offers special features such as a half-bathroom and a French double door entrance.

Toscana
Toscana, a condominium community developed by Dayco and The Devlin Group, will consist of two towers encompassing 130 luxurious homes.

Luxury is the watchword. The two- and three-bedroom homes, which will average 1,400 square feet, will showcase luxury finishes such as granite, marble and Italian porcelain.

The kitchens, for example, will boast granite countertops, dual stainless-steel sinks and G.E. stainless-steel appliances as well as 42-inch maple cabinets with a warm hazelnut finish and sleek pewter hardware.

The master bathrooms will feature spacious tiled showers, separate water closets and dual sinks with pewter faucets and maple cabinets.

A resort-style pool and a cabana as well as a posh clubhouse are also planned.
Dayco and The Devlin Group have a combined reputation as one of the world’s premier developers of distinctive residential, resort and mixed-use communities.?
