Good Neighbor Awards
More than 350 people recently packed the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville" target="_blank">Jacksonville Riverfront ballroom for the third annual Good Neighbor Awards, co-sponsored by Jacksonville" target="_blank">Jacksonville Homebuyer and the Northeast Florida Builders Association (NEFBA). The event was designed to recognize builders and developers who do the most to improve the region’s quality of life through charitable work. Jacksonville" target="_blank">Jacksonville Homebuyer Publisher Penelope Geismar and NEFBA Executive Director Daniel Davis were the co-hosts while Jacksonville" target="_blank">Jacksonville Mayor John Peyton was the guest speaker. Proceeds from the event benefit the Arnold Tritt Scholarship Fund, which provides assistance for students enrolled in the University of North Florida’s construction management program. Tritt was NEFBA’s executive vice president for 34 years before stepping aside last year to take on a new role as executive advisor to the association.
