1. ICI Homes, Sisler Johnston Interior Design and NEFBA’s Builders Care have recently renovated the Tony Boselli Foundation Youth Life Learning Center in northwest Jacksonville. Named for the former Jacksonville Jaguar, the center provides after-school and summer programs and features a learning lab, a library, offices and meeting rooms. 2. Developers and city officials gathered recently to formally break ground on the new Jacksonville Fire Station No. 50 on Beach Boulevard. Mori Hosseini, chairman and chief executive officer of ICI Homes, officiated at the groundbreaking ceremony along with Scott Phillips, market manager of Beazer Homes in Jacksonville and Richard Clark, city councilman from District Three. The $2.6 million price tag for the station will be shared by ICI and Beazer, who are teaming to develop Tamaya, a nearby community that the station will serve. Shown are (left to right):? 3. Providence Homes has broken ground on its third House for Hope located in Aberdeen’s Wellington Park neighborhood. Profits from the sale of the home will benefit Hope International, a global nonprofit organization that provides micro-loans to people in poverty-stricken countries. The 2,818-square-foot home, which will be built using mostly donated or discounted labor and materials, could generate a $75,000 donation to the organization. 4. Standard Pacific Homes has opened its Carmel model in Timber Creek Plantation. To celebrate the event, the company held separate grand openings for real estate professionals and the public.
