Q. Even today, there are relatively few female contractors. Why did you decide to get into such a male-dominated business???
A. Because remodeling is my passion. I absolutely love the creative process, demolition and problem solving. And I truly appreciate the craftsmanship that goes into bringing about a successful transformation. Besides, the sense of accomplishment and that awesome feeling I get when it all comes together is extremely addictive.?

Q. Where did the name “BeeTree” come from??
A. There’s a park in St. Louis that holds a special place in my heart. It’s called BeeTree.?

Q. Your office is in your home, plus you have four children. How do you juggle your work life and your family life????
A. I surround myself with support-
ive and encouraging friends. I manage my expectations of myself and others. Jobs aren’t going to run flawlessly, kids will be kids, a house is a home and no one can be perfect, not even a husband of 23 years. Most importantly, I’ve realized that my faith in God is my true source of empowerment.??
?
Q. Remodeling is stressful for many people. What are some of the ways you help your clients cope???
A.First, we work as a team, and our clients know that I believe in personal accountability in all aspects of our business. Our clients are viewed as business partners who are to be informed, respected and included in the whole process. Being viewed as a vital member of our team creates an environment were the needs of our clients, their children and pets are constantly taken into consideration and evaluated.???

Q. Who is your personal hero, and why??
A.Wow, this is hard. I’ve found that my personal hero changes according to the seasons of my life. Today, it would be the countless ordinary people who’ve come forward to encourage and support my dad as he battles cancer. They’ve humbled me with their generosity and selfless acts of kindness.
?
Q. What kind of music is on your iPod??
A. Rebecca St. James and Michael W. Smith
