Northeast Florida boasts a culturally diverse history, with French and Spanish influences dating back hundreds of years.
????Saluting that diversity, the 29th Annual Realtor-Builder Tradeshow, slated for Thursday, October 30 at the Prime Osborn Convention Center, will spice things up with a Brazilian-style Carniv?e.?
????A festival of music, food and fun, Carniv?e is a chance to celebrate the good things in life. And the event’s organizers, the Northeast Florida Association of Realtors (NEFAR) and the Sales and Marketing Council of the Northeast Florida Builders Association (SMC), are confident that their members have much to celebrate, despite a slower than usual market.
????With tickets priced at only $10 per person, Carniv?e will boast food, fun, prizes and a chance to visit more than 80 booths.?
????Hours for the event are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Only members of NEFAR or NEFBA may reserve booth space and attendance is for industry pros only.?
????Last year’s railroad-themed tradeshow and luncheon drew more than 1,000 attendees.??
????“Our quality of life here in Northeast Florida is spectacular, and there are many, many reasons to throw a big party for the real estate and building industry,” says Amanda Randolph, director of SMC. “Carniv?e is the perfect theme to focus on the fun and fanciful side of things. We picture a festive, giant party with lots of feathers, masks and bright colors.”
????The annual event has become a welcome opportunity for both exhibitors and attendees to find out what’s happening in the market, make connections and renew friendships.
????Good-natured competition among exhibitors also adds spice to the day, with prizes awarded for best-decorated booth, among other categories.
????Highlights also include a variety of party food and a wealth of giveaways, which this year will include gift baskets, gas cards and VISA gift cards.?
????Booth space is $700 and includes electricity, wireless Internet access, a table, two chairs and two event tickets. Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum sponsorships are also available, ranging in price from $750 to $5,000.?
