CLAY COUNTY -
CornerStone Homes is now building in Doctors Inlet Reserve, located near the St. Johns River, Doctors Lake, Doctors Inlet and Black Creek. The builder is offering 10 floorplans priced from $149,900. Two decorated models are now open.

Taylor Morrison is offering homes priced from $99,000 in the second phase of its Lakeside Townhomes community. The builder also has homes available in Briar Oaks Townhomes at OakLeaf Plantation priced from $119,990. Homes in both communities include signature details for which the builder is known, such as plant shelves, art niches, arches and vaulted ceilings.

DUVAL COUNTY -
Construction has begun on Legendary Run, Mandarin’s newest community. Developed by Rene Dostie Jr. and marketed by Victoria Robbins Realty, this intimate enclave contains 21 estate-sized homesites priced from $135,000. Buyers may select their own builder and there is no mandatory construction timeframe.

Mattamy Homes recently hosted a grand opening of its North Campus community, located on the Northside. The builder showcased its Charleston model, one of six distinctive floorplans offered. Mattamy will build 39 homes in North Campus priced from $139,900.

Collins Builders is offering single-family homes in McGirts Village West, located on the Westside. Homes are priced from the $120s and are surrounded by wooded areas and a pristine lake. A model home and an inventory home have been completed and are now open.

A coach home model is under construction at European-styled Old San Jose on the River, developed by McGarvey Residential Communities. The coach homes, built by custom homebuilder John Doerer, are priced from $463,900. When complete, Old San Jose on the River will have 150 coach homes, riverfront homes, townhomes and single-family homes.

Engle Homes has launched a newly renovated Web site to provide updated information about the company’s communities, pricing and availability opportunities. The site recently won a Laurel Award from the Sales and Marketing Council of the Northeast Florida Builders Association (NEFBA) for superior design. One of its unique features is the online presence of the company’s marketing manager, who shares specific details about homes and incentives.

Ed Burr, founder and former CEO of LandMar Group, has announced the launch of his venture called GreenPointe Holdings. The company will focus on full-scale development plans to create eco-friendly, sustainable communities as well as? strategic acquisitions. Led by a team that includes Burr, former JEA CEO Walt Bussells and developer Roger Postlethwaite, GreenPointe’s mission is to use the latest technological advancements to make eco-friendly development financially viable.

NASSAU COUNTY -
J.P. McClellan Inc. Artisan Builder recently completed the company’s first green-built home in Amelia Park. The Florida Caribbean-style home, which was certified through Energy Star, includes such features as solar lighting, recycled countertops, locally handcrafted cabinetry and natural gas. Company founder J.P. McClellan formerly served as project manager of more than 200 homes in the community.??

Amelia Park Development has announced plans to build the first school, Amelia Island Montessori School, in Amelia Park. The school will accommodate up to 300 children, and groundbreaking is scheduled for late summer. The facility is expected to be completed by December 2009.

Only a few opportunities remain to buy homesites in Amelia Park’s Garden Walk. Defined by coastal gardens and a meandering walking path, the unique two-acre homesites are priced from the low $100s and are connected by a pedestrian greenway.

Taylor Morrison has announced that only four homes remain in phase one of its River Glen community in Yulee. Priced from the low $200s, the homes feature open living spaces and outdoor areas. Community amenities include pools, tennis and basketball courts, baseball fields and a fitness center.

ST. JOHNS COUNTY -
The equestrian community of Bartram Farms has begun its airpark phase, offering large parcels that have direct access to a private, paved 4,000-foot runway. The two-and-a-half to five-acre parcels are priced from $189,900 to $249,900. Also available are parcels with access to the community’s aircraft storage areas. Community amenities include more than nine miles of nature and riding trails and eight huge lakes.

Mattamy Homes has acquired 30 homesites in St. Augustine’s King Trace community and plans to start presales this summer of three-, four- and five-bedroom homes priced from the $160s. Models should be completed this fall.

A new amenity center has been completed in the Toll Brothers community of The Colony at Greenbriar. The center features a Junior Olympic-sized pool, a three-acre athletic field, a children’s playground and a community fishing dock. Toll Brothers offers 10 home designs in the community priced from the $400s. The community’s Willow Heritage model was a 2008 Parade of Homes award winner.

The Neighborhoods of World Golf Village, developed by Davidson Development, has redesigned its community Web site to include interactive features, simplified navigation, an events calendar and an online press room. The site also has an interactive database that matches customer preferences with homes and a quiz-based contest through which prizes are awarded.

The Town of Nocatee held its first farmers’ market along the community’s Crosswater Parkway, showcasing wares from 23 local merchants and growers. The response was so positive that the developer, The PARC Group, plans to continue the event throughout the summer.?

David Weekley Homes has announced that its homes built in St. Johns Forest will be certified through the Energy Star program and will also receive diamond-level certification through the Environments for Living program. Homes with these certifications must meet stringent program and performance criteria during the design and construction process. David Weekley is offering eight floorplans in St. Johns Forest priced from the $390s.
