Building on 15 Years
The architects who designed Riva Del Lago Towers, Beau Rivage, Shelton Jaguar and Busey Bank, celebrated their 15th anniversary with an open house party for 200 guests. Sheeley Architects of Fort Myers thanked their clients, contractors and friends at the event. The party was held at the firm’s new offices in University Park.

Celebrity Sightings at the Quarry
An all-star list of some of football’s greatest players gathered earlier this year for the Drive Fore Hope Celebrity Golf Challenge, hosted by NFL Hall of Famer Jim Kelly. The party started the evening before the tournament with a chef’s extravaganza at The Quarry Golf Lodge in north Naples. Chefs from local restaurants provided food and wine for the players and guests, followed by a live and silent auction of sports memorabilia. The event benefited Hunter’s Hope Foundation, set up by Jim Kelly and his wife, Jill, in honor of their infant son Hunter, who suffered from Krabbe Leukodystrophy. The auctions and tournament raised $135,000.

Blooms for a Benefit
Grand Arbors’ TwinEagles Home & Garden Tour featured nearly a dozen new model homes and premier luxury retailers along with container gardens created by four garden clubs. The Bonsai Society of Southwest Florida, the Naples chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society, the Florida Yards & Neighborhoods Program and the James E. Hendry Chapter of the American Hibiscus Society were the beneficiaries of the event’s proceeds of more than $5,000.

Ready to Tee Up
The Quarry in north Naples celebrated the opening of its Hurdzan/Fry-designed golf course with a brief ceremony on the course’s sixth hole. Tim Ruemler, president of Centex Homes of Southwest Florida; Dr. Michael Hurdzan and Bill Kerman for Hurdzan/Fry Golf Course Design; and Matt Russell, head golf professional for The Quarry; gathered for a simultaneous swing. Guests were invited to play a round on the new course.
