WHO DO YOU TRUST? NATIONAL SURVEY SAYS IT’S TAYLOR MORRISON

Plenty of big companies are building homes these days. But which ones can you trust with the most important investment you’ll likely ever make? At the top of the list, according to Lifestory Research, is Taylor Morrison Homes, which was recently named America’s Most Trusted Home Builder by Lifestory Research.

It’s the second consecutive year that the Scottsdale, Arizona-based company has earned the coveted award, which is based on the opinions of more than 31,000 potential buyers actively looking for a new home in the nation’s top housing markets. Taylor Morrison has 16 communities in Central Florida.

The Lifestory Research study, now in its fifth year, seeks to understand how trust impacts consumers’ evaluations of builder brands. “Relationships and trust are the foundation of success for any business,” says Taylor Morrison president and CEO Sheryl Palmer. “This repeated recognition is a true testament to the caliber of people who make up our stellar team. I’m so proud of this achievement.”

Taylor Morrison serves a wide array of consumer groups from coast to coast, including first-time, move-up, luxury, and 55-plus buyers. From start to finish, the company seeks to create a seamless and inspired homebuilding and homebuying experience.

The company was in the news recently as builder of the NEXTadventure Home, a joint project with building-oriented media company Hanley Wood and the National Association of Home Builders’ International Builders’ Show, which ran January 10-12 in Orlando.

The NEXTadventure Home, built after extensive research into the wants and needs of 55-plus buyers, can now be seen at Taylor Morrison’s beautiful active-adult community, Esplanade at Highland Ranch in Clermont. The amenity-packed, 1,500- home community is just a 25-minute drive from Orlando.

Whether you’re ready to live the Florida lifestyle year-round or ease into it with a vacation home, the time of your life is waiting at Esplanade at Highland Ranch. It’s a gated community within master-planned Highland Ranch, where residents enjoy all the factors that make Central Florida such a perennially desirable location — wonderful weather, fabulous cultural and recreational attractions, unspoiled recreational areas and close proximity to spectacular beaches. And, with homes priced from the low $200s, it’s surprisingly affordable for the kind of pampering lifestyle you’ll enjoy.

Stylish one-story homes, inspired by California Tuscan architecture, feature tile roofs, ornamental detailing and lush landscaping — and are situated to take full advantage of premium lake and nature views.

Each home includes the most popular standard features to add convenience, style and value. You’ll find a selection of home sizes, all with luxurious owners’ suites with walk-in closets and beautifully appointed master baths. All of the company’s homes feature energy-efficient materials and construction as well as tech-ready wiring.

In addition, there are an array of upgrades and options available through the Taylor Morrison Design Studio that allow buyers to personalize their homes.

And the amenities are second to none. Highland Ranch is oriented around an extensive network of parks and open spaces that meander through the community and provide residents with ways to stay active, meet their neighbors and enjoy direct access to natural areas.

A recently completed clubhouse boasts a state-of-the-art fitness center and a multipurpose space for yoga and exercise classes. You can work out with a personal trainer, get your cardio on at an aerobics class or relax with a massage or facial. There’s also a card room, a coffee bar and a catering kitchen.

Whatever you’d like to do, an on-site lifestyle director will point you toward the activities, facilities and community events that most suit your interests. And, of course, it wouldn’t be Florida without a heated community pool, which can be used virtually year round.

Swim laps or just soak in the large hot tub. You can also relax under the covered lanai and enjoy the summer kitchen, or catch up with friends around the cozy fire pit.

Feel like some friendly competition? There’s tennis, billiards, pickle ball or bocce ball. Or, if you prefer quiet time, you’ll cherish the three miles of elevated boardwalks and nature trails that wind their way through the community’s pristine conservation areas.

Those trails connect directly to the scenic seven-mile South Lake Trail, which hooks up with the 19-mile West Orange Trail. Walking, jogging or biking along this multicounty trail system provides spectacular views of sparkling lakes and lush picnic spots.

You can also stroll through historic downtown Winter Garden, packed with restaurants and boutiques, and Clermont’s Waterfront Park, a popular lakeside beach destination.

In addition to The Canyons at Highland Ranch, in Lake County, Taylor Morrison has communities throughout Orange and Seminole counties, including:
